Humans of BAJA is an initiative by BAJA SAEINDIA to find and map every person who was ever part of the competition - from the first 27 teams at NATRAX Pithampur in 2007 to the 500+ colleges and 2 lakh+ students who have passed through across 19 editions.
The goal is simple: before BAJA SAEINDIA's 20th edition in 2027, we want to know where everyone is now. What they're building. How BAJA shaped their career. Whether they went on to build careers in industry, founded their own companies, served their communities, pursued new passions or forged their own path - every BAJA human has a story worth archiving.
This is not a directory. It's not a job board. It's a visual, map-based archive where each pin represents a real person who once built a roll cage from scratch, survived a 4-hour endurance race, or spent their entire semester budget on a CVT that didn't work.
This archive is the first step toward a dedicated alumni platform - a space for BAJA alumni to reconnect, collaborate, mentor current teams, and stay connected to the competition that shaped their careers.
The long-term vision includes alumni networking, industry mentorship for active teams, career opportunities, and a knowledge base built from two decades of engineering experience. Humans of BAJA lays the groundwork by first answering the most fundamental question: where is everyone?
Something big is loading. The BAJA Club is where this leads - a lifelong network for everyone who ever built a buggy, across every edition, every industry, and every corner of the world.
BAJA has always been the bridge between students and industry. The Club extends that bridge to each other, because the journey doesn't end at the finish line. First we have to find everyone, and that starts with your pin.

Humans of BAJA is by BAJA SAEINDIA - the people who run the competition year-round, from scoring and judges coordination to workshops, virtual events, and social media. Many of them are former participants themselves.
Humans of BAJA is an initiative by BAJA SAEINDIA that maps 20 years of BAJA SAEINDIA participants (2007-2027) onto one interactive world map, so alumni can be found and reconnected before the 20th edition in 2027.
BAJA SAEINDIA is India's premier student engineering design competition, running since 2007. Student teams design, build and race their own off-road buggy across the mBAJA, eBAJA, aBAJA and hBAJA categories.

Only your pin location and graduation year appear on the public map. Every other detail stays private with BAJA SAEINDIA.
Every entry is reviewed by the BAJA team before it goes live on the public map.
